Position Overview

Epic Flooring Solutions is seeking motivated, dependable, and detail-oriented individuals to support our growing flooring operations. This position combines commercial and in-home flooring consultations and estimating.

The ideal candidate is professional, customer-focused, comfortable using technology and tools. Depending on experience, qualifications, and project needs, responsibilities may include visiting customers’ homes, measuring flooring areas, preparing estimates.

This opportunity is suited to individuals with experience in flooring, construction, estimating, and sales, as well as motivated candidates who are willing to learn and develop their skills.

Qualifications & Skills

Key Responsibilities

Commercial and In-Home Flooring Consultations & Estimating

  1. Travel to customer appointments throughout the Hampton Roads and surrounding areas.
  2. Measure flooring project areas accurately and document relevant site conditions.
  3. Discuss customer needs, flooring selections, installation requirements, and available options.
  4. Evaluate existing spaces and help customers understand appropriate flooring solutions.
  5. Prepare estimates and project documentation using company-provided technology and pricing resources.
  6. Revise estimates and invoices when customers request changes or additional options.
  7. Communicate professionally with customers, sales representatives, and internal team members.

Flooring Installer

Installers to complete high-quality commercial and
residential installations, including epoxy flooring,
polished concrete, and a full range of floor covering
products.

  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Key Responsibilities

Commercial & Residential Flooring Installation

  1. Install epoxy flooring, polished concrete, and including luxury vinyl tile (LVT), luxury vinyl plank (LVP), sheet vinyl, heat-welded vinyl, carpet, solid hardwood, laminate, tile, rubber, and other specified products.
  2. Measure, cut, fit, and secure flooring materials according to project specifications and manufacturer instructions.
  3. Prepare subfloors and existing surfaces through cleaning, scraping, sanding, priming, and other appropriate preparation methods.
  4. Read and interpret project measurements, blueprints, technical drawings, and installation instructions when necessary.
  5. Perform applicable floor refinishing, surface restoration, and water damage repair work.
  6. Assist with specialized projects, including marine flooring installations, when qualified and assigned.
  7. Maintain tools and equipment properly and follow all applicable jobsite safety procedures.
  8. Identify project issues and communicate material, site, or installation matters to the appropriate supervisor.
